Junior Drafter / CAD Professional

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Junior Drafter / CAD professional with a keen eye for detail and passion for innovative design to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside our current drafter to refine details, review shop drawings, and ensure the highest level of accuracy and quality in all project deliverables.  You will also collaborate closely with our sales and project management teams to create precise technical drawings, renderings and 3D models that bring our custom projects to life. 

Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and review shop drawings
• Interpret architectural plans and ensure compatibility with structural requirements
• Revise drawings based on feedback and ensure compliance with project standards and timelines
• Assist in material take-offs and manufacturing preparation processes

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ drafting experience
• Minimum 3 years experience in construction or manufacturing field
• Strong understanding of construction documents, blueprints, and technical standards
• Experience with fabric structures, tensile architecture, or related fields preferred, but not mandatory
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Meticulous with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently
• Demonstrates ability to take initiative

Software Experience

• Proficiency in 3D AutoCAD
• Strong computer skills including the Microsoft Suite of Office Products
• Knowledge of SketchUp, or other 3D modeling software is a plus

Schedule

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm 

Onsite position, this is not a remote job.
