Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Project Estimator to manage the proposal process, from incoming inquiries to submitting proposals. This role involves reviewing drawings, preparing accurate estimates, and providing exceptional product knowledge and support to clients. A strong focus on communication and collaboration with internal teams and vendors is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the proposal process: incoming inquiries to proposal submittal
• Review drawings and specifications to create accurate proposals
• Provide take-offs and budgets for materials and installation for commercial projects
• Revise estimates and scope based on project changes
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and vendors to obtain estimated costs and lead times
• Provide product knowledge and support to clients, addressing inquiries about design, pricing, and lead times
• Respond to and create RFIs for general contractors (GCs)
• Provide change orders for ongoing projects
• Maintain detailed records of sales activities and provide regular reports and forecasts to management

Qualifications

• Organization and detailed oriented
• Excellent customer service and effective communication skills
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to read and interpret commercial construction plans
• Adept at grasping new concepts 
• Experienced with computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite  
• Proficiency in customer relations management (CRM) type software, such as Salesforce®, or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 4 years project management experience or equivalent
• Minimum 1 – 2 years construction background or equivalent
• Sketch up and/or Drawing experience a plus 
• Experience working with commercial window coverings is a plus

Schedule

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
